The Research Development (RD) team in FAS Research Administration Services provides resources and support to FAS and SEAS faculty seeking funding. This support includes:
FAS Research Development works directly with faculty to determine what available funding opportunities match their research needs and priorities. RD can help navigate the many federal, foundation, and internal Harvard funding sources and funding search databases and keep you apprised of notable funding opportunities.
Research Development, in coordination with sponsored research administrators, works with faculty and administrators to develop the non-disciplinary elements of proposals such as management plans, broader impacts, evaluation plans, and finding external evaluators. The team also provides tools, templates, and guidelines for typical proposal elements.
Programs and Workshops
Research Development offers programming on how to utilize research tools and resources and become more familiar with major sponsors. RD hosts sponsor visits and programming throughout the year to help researchers and department administrators expand their grantsmanship knowledge.
