National Humanities Center: Residential Fellowship

Eligibility: Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree at least five years prior to application. Must have published at least one single-authored book or a substantial body of peer-reviewed scholarship.

Description: Conceived with the needs of humanists in mind, the National Humanities Center (NHC) provides scholars with an environment and resources conducive to generating new knowledge and furthering understanding of the human experience. NHC offers its residential writing Fellowships in Research Triangle Park, NC, for advanced study in the humanities. Fellows are provided with a stipend, private office space, one meal daily, and library access. The Fellowship also accepts applications from scholars in the natural and social sciences, the arts, the professions, and public life who are engaged in humanistic projects (see FAQs for scholarly research supported by NHC).
