Eligibility: Candidate must be a citizen of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan and must have obtained their doctoral degree within six years of the date the fellowship goes into effect.
Deadline Month: September, January, and June (Short Term)
Description: To promote international scientific cooperation, the JSPS encourages highly qualified researchers from around the world to conduct joint research activities with colleagues at Japanese universities and research institutes. JSPS offers short-term postdoctoral fellowship programs, each with different eligibility requirements. Longer-term fellowships are also available.
