Description: The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers awards in more than 120 countries for U.S. citizens to teach, conduct research, and carry out professional projects around the world. Location, activity type, and eligibility vary across awards. Postdoctoral/early career grants are open to U.S. scholars who have completed their doctoral degree within five to seven years of the fellowship start date, as noted in the award description. Postdoctoral awards are available in STEM fields, the arts, humanities, and social sciences, and are for opportunities abroad. These grants present an excellent opportunity for recently minted scholars to deepen their expertise, to acquire new skills, to work with additional resources, and to make connections with others in their fields.
