Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute

The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute supports faculty research projects with grants that bring together faculty members at Harvard from different fields and regions whose scholarship relates to South Asia. Faculty Multi-Disciplinary Research Grants offer up to $12,000 for Exploratory Research Projects and Advanced Research Projects. Faculty Climate Research Grants offer up to $15,000 to foster deeper scholarly engagement on climate change, catalyze the creation of new knowledge, and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions across South Asia.
