Eligibility: Candidates must be, at the earliest, in the final year of their Ph.D. training and able to formally complete, defend, and receive their Ph.D. by the time the fellowships starts.

Description: Kempner Research Fellows are leading, early-stage postdoctoral scientists whose research advances the fundamental understanding of intelligence. The expectation is that the focus of the fellow’s research will be computational, and not bench-based. Fellows serve for a term of up to three years and receive salary and research funds, office space, and support from a deeply engaged community of scientists.
