Jacqueline Nkiruka Uchendu

Jacqueline Nkiruka Uchendu serves as FORA's Manager of Research Finance, Compliance and Training. In this role, Jackie collaborates closely with FAS departments, central offices, and cross-school partners to ensure compliance with federal, sponsor, and University research finance requirements. She oversees cost transfers, effort reporting, subrecipient monitoring, quarterly expense monitoring, fixed price closeouts (school level review), the FASIP program, and compliance for complex international awards such as ERC grants. Jackie supports the annual Uniform Guidance audit and serves as a key resource to departments, offering expert guidance on financial policy and sponsor expectations. She also contributes to University-wide compliance initiatives through active participation in several institutional working groups and committees. Drawing on her prior experience as a departmental research administrator, Jackie is a trusted partner to faculty and administrators across the FAS research community.
