**Eligibility**: Early-career investigators (PhD candidates, Postdocs, Assistant Professors). Non-U.S. citizens with a valid U.S. visa are eligible to apply.

**Deadline Month**: April

**Description**: Supports early career scholars working to bring transformative medical research, education, and technology to rid the world of neurological diseases. The program invests in scientists (PhD candidates, Postdocs, Assistant Professors) whose innovative ideas have the potential to drive transformative breakthroughs but may fall outside traditional funding pathways. As part of the application, applicants are asked to submit a short video sharing personal motivation for their work, what draws the applicant to the research problem or question, and why this moment in the applicant's career and in the field matters.

*In previous application cycles, KTCT limited the number of applications submitted institutions. For the 2026 application cycle, this restriction has been lifted and there is no limit on the number of applications institutions may submit.*
