Senior Director of Research Compliance
Megan Moore, J.D., is the Senior Director of Research Compliance for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. In her role, she oversees financial conflict of interest reporting and management, export control compliance, international collaborations, and outside activities review, and coordinates policy development and outreach on research-related compliance issues. Having previously spent seven years within the Harvard University Office for Sponsored Programs, most recently as the Associate Director, Grants and Contracts, Megan is fluent in the regulatory requirements and University policies governing sponsored research and data use, and is able to advise on matters that bridge sponsored programs, research involving sensitive data, and compliance considerations. Prior to joining Harvard, Megan worked as an associate attorney at Weil, Gotshal and Manges, LLP. She holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
