    Star Family Challenge for Promising Scientific Research Award Presentation

    The Star Family Challenge is a research award program established at the suggestion of James A. Star ‘83, supporting FAS and SEAS faculty members in the natural and social sciences pursuing high-risk, high-impact projects with an interdisciplinary focus. This year's five awardees will present their research projects at the event, which is open to the Harvard community.

    Using Pivot and Foundation Directory Online to Find Grant and Fellowship Funding

    Location: 

    Northwest Building room b129 (computer lab), Cambridge

    This workshop will introduce participants to two online funding opportunity databases – Pivot and Foundation Directory Online. These systems provide information about grants and fellowships in all disciplines from many different types of sponsor organizations. During the workshop, participants will learn how to access the databases, conduct funding searches, and create notifications for relevant opportunities. The session will take place in a computer lab so that attendees can conduct their own searches as the demonstrations take place.
