The recently released “Update for Faculty and Principal Investigators” has raised some questions about what resources should be reported in NIH “Other Support” (OS) and NSF “Current and Pending Support (C&P).” These disclosures are being carefully reviewed by the federal agencies and in recent months NIH and NSF have issued reminders, clarifications and proposed changes to the requirements. Workspace to replace Grants.gov forms on 1/1/18: Register now to obtain access

October 20, 2017

Beginning on January 1, 2018, all grants.gov applications must be submitted using Workspace, an online, web-based application, rather than the legacy PDF application package.  Neither Fastlane (NSF) or ASSIST (NIH) will be affected, but other federal funders that will require use of workspace include DOD, ONR, AFOSR, DARPA, DOE, NIJ, NEH, NEA, IMLS, and USDA.
